PARK DELICATESSEN- Special Flower Arrangements Park Delicatessen was opened in 2009 as a creative space for Valentine Leung, a fashion designer and Michael J. Sclafani, a window dresser. They wanted to open a skateboard shop that also sold their vintage finds and handmade items. The flower idea was inspired by the storeʼs original 1950ʼs refrigerator; a remnant of the spaceʼs original use as a delicatessen. Their flowers are as eclectic as their store and are influenced by everything from hand painted signs to fine art. They work with a wide variety of flowers dependent on the season and what is locally available. |
