Shichi Hon Yari Junmai Sake!

We are proud to carry Shichi Hon Yari Junmai sake, one of the oldest and smallest breweries in Japan. Founded in the 1540’s and managed by the 15th generation of the family, this brewery produces just over 5,ooo cases every year!

Shichi Hon Yari Junmai (7 Spearmen)

  • REGION: Shiga, Japan
  • RICE: Tamazakae
  • SEIMAI-BUAI (RPR): 60%
  • NIHONSHU-DO (SMV): +4
  • NOTES: Earthy and mushroomy in the nose but reveals light, fresh notes of grapefruit and melon on the palate. Light body with crisp and clean finish. Only 5,000 cases produced per year. Paired with Yakitori, nutty cheese. Served slightly chilled or warm.
