Hand-picked from vines around 70 years old, the grapes are fermented in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and see no oak allowing the wine to show off its unique fruit and minerality. The name “Cendel” reinforces the wine’s character it comes from the silken scarf worn in the time of Don Quixote and attributed to the “silken” old vine Garnacha. Medium-bodied with balanced acidity and smooth structure, this wine boasts complex notes of ripe red berries, dried leaves, and turned earth.
