Kobal Blaufränkisch
$18.00
REGION: Bizeljsko –Sremič, Štajerska, Slovenia
VARIETAL/BLEND: 100% Blaufränkisch
NOTES: *Sustainable. Blaufränkisch is a special premium dark, ruby-colored wine with an aroma which resembles over-ripened blackberries, chocolate, black mulberries and dried plums. The harmony of fruity aromas is nicely rounded up with wood characteristics both in scent and in flavor, with a moderately long velvet finish. Decant up to 45 minutes before drinking. Paired with cured and smoked ham, grilled or roasted pork chops, brick-oven pizza, roasted chicken or turkey.
MUSIC PAIRING: Neil Young, Alabama Shake, A Tribe Called Quest
Mansus Sivi pinot-r
$15.00
REGION: Vipava Valley, Slovenia
VARIETAL/BLEND: Pinot Grigio
NOTES: Ripe cherries, soft fruity aroma with crisp acidity, this “Orange” wine is well balanced and versatile due to its medium bodied structure with mild soft tannins. Pairs well with Charcuterie, cold cuts and pizza.
MUSIC PAIRING: U2, R.E.M.
Pullus Pinot Grigio
$14.00
REGION: Lower Styria (Štajerska), Slovenia
VARIETAL/BLEND: Pinot Grigio
NOTES: This Pinot Grigio has a Rosy-Coopery hue in its color, which is typical for overripe macerated grapes of this variety. Its nuances are expressed in the bouquet, which hints at ripe pears. The intense bouquet gives the wine a full aftertaste, which is due to the extended maceration. The creamy aftertaste, which is typical of aging on lees, rounds out this wine and creates a pleasant harmony of aroma and flavor. Paired with pasta with seafood, white meat and grilled young cheese.
MUSIC PAIRING: Perpetuum Jazzile
