Quinta da Aveleda has been a family-owned institution in the Vinho Verde region since 1870, with records of wine sales dating back to that era and gold medals from international competitions in Berlin and Paris as early as 1888. Today the Guedes family still owns 100% of the estate, farming 150 hectares of granite-sand vineyards planted to the region's signature indigenous varieties. The Espumante Bruto is their fully sparkling expression — distinct from their still Vinho Verde, which carries the natural light spritz of the region. Made from a blend of Alvarinho, Loureiro, Arinto, Azal, and Trajadura, it delivers the bright, lively, citrus-and-floral character of Vinho Verde in a more celebratory, fully effervescent format: lime, green apple, white flowers, and a clean mineral finish, with persistent fine bubbles and a brut-dry palate.
