Barrika Basque Cider

Barrika Basque Cider, known as sagardoa in the local dialect, is an unfiltered dry cider with a creamy foam and light effervescence. The palate is refreshingly tart, the dryness fading to a crisp, subtly briny finish. Notes of overripe apples, tart citrus, mineral and saline earth, and palate-cleansing acidity dominate the palate and give off sour beer vibes.

Food Pairing: fresh seafood, grilled fish, anchovy-studded pintxos, grilled turkey burgers, pork chops with dry apple sauce, hard and cured cheeses.
