Benito Santos Albarino

One of Rías Baixas' foundational estates — Benito Santos helped create the DO itself in the 1980s. Today the family farms three certified organic single-vineyard sites in Val do Salnés with native yeasts and minimal sulfur. The result is Albariño as it should be: salty, mineral, and structured, with Meyer lemon, peach skin, wet stone, and none of the tropical excess of industrial versions. Essential.
