Casale Delle Campore Sangiovese

The red counterpart to the Rosato, this Sangiovese comes from the same certified organic Val di Toro estate in the Maremma, where winemaker Anna Maria Cruciata works the land with spontaneous fermentation and minimal intervention. Estate fruit vinified in cement vats yields a medium-bodied red with good structure, ripe cherry and plum, earthy undertones, and the bright acidity that makes Sangiovese such a natural at the table. A straightforward, honest expression of coastal Tuscan Sangiovese at its most approachable.
