The 2014 Barbaresco Riserva Rose delle Casasse is a powerful, ample wine. A blast of dark amarena cherry, plum, mocha, licorice and spice infuse the 2014 with tons of depth and volume. The 2014 is not especially refined, in fact it is pretty burly, and yet there is so much character.

You will find a potent, tannic Barbaresco with tons of virile intensity. The Rose delle Casasse is likely, the only Barbaresco made from Nebbiolo Rose. Some believe Nebbiolo Rose to be a clone of Nebbiolo though in Ian d'Agata's book, "The Grapes of Italy," he writes that it has been proven that Nebbiolo Rose is genetically different than Nebbiolo, though related.
