Domain Moutard Champagne

The Moutard family has been growing grapes in the village of Buxeuil since the mid-17th century, establishing themselves as one of the standout producers in the Côte des Bar — Champagne's southernmost and warmest sub-region. The Grande Cuvée Brut is 100% Pinot Noir grown on kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils, the same geological formation that runs through Chablis, which lends the wine an expressive, mineral character distinct from the chalky Marne. Creamy and ample in the glass, it offers lemon peel, white flowers, plum, crushed stone, and a bright, focused finish. A consistently fine value in grower Champagne.
