Domaine Duffour Cotes de Gascogne Blanc

Michel Duffour's Colombard vines were planted by his father in the 1960s in Lagraulet-du-Gers — old enough to give depth that most Gascogne whites lack. Blended with Gros Manseng and Ugni Blanc, all fermented in tank with indigenous yeast, the wine is a study in aromatic energy: passion fruit, grapefruit, lime zest, and a touch of green herb, dry and refreshing on the finish. One of the great white wine values in France, and a perennial crowd-pleaser.
