Laurent Chardigny farms his Pinot Noir in the southern Mâconnais, where the rolling limestone and clay hills of Burgundy meet Beaujolais country. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with native yeast to preserve the purity of the fruit — fresh red currant, cherry, and plum with forest floor, black pepper, and a light mineral thread.
