Domaine Tinel-Blondelet Pouilly-Fumé Arrêt-Buffatté

This dry, crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect example of what one expects from a Pouilly-Fumé wine: High-toned acidity, crisp green apple, white floral, and smoky, flinty undertones. The TInel family is highly regarded in the Loire Valley and they have farmed their land and produced wines over 12 generations. The grapes were organically farmed, and the must was fermented at low temperatures, with pump overs and stirring of the lees. The stainless steel tanks were thermo-regulated with a late bottling.
