El Dorado Super Premium 12yr Old Rum

Aged 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Marzipan, cherry, and cinnamon sit on the front of the nose, followed by fruit, spice, and dry herbs; on the palate, baked apple, dried date, clove, and oak tannin, finishing with ripe papaya, galangal, and sourdough.

The benchmark of the El Dorado lineup and one of the great values in aged rum anywhere in the world. Produced at Guyana's last remaining distillery by Demerara Distillers Limited, this blend draws from three historic stills — including the Enmore wooden Coffey still and the legendary Port Mourant double wooden pot still — then spends at least 12 years in ex-bourbon oak casks. The result is a faintly smoky, richly layered spirit of marzipan, dried fruit, baking spice, orange peel, and butterscotch, with a long, elegant finish. Exceptional on its own, and equally at home in classic tiki cocktails.
