The Médeville family has been rooted in Cadillac, Bordeaux since the early 1800s — six generations of winemaking guided by brothers Jean and Marc Médeville. Their Bordeaux Blanc is a classic Bordelais blend: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon, and 10% Muscadelle from 25-year-old vines on 7 hectares, farmed sustainably with HVE Level 3 certification and in organic conversion. After pressing, the must settles on the skins before fermentation at cool temperatures, then ages two months on the lees before bottling. The wine is pale yellow with silver shimmers — lemon and pear harmonize with a slightly herbal finish. A textbook, food-friendly Bordeaux Blanc at an excellent price.
