Kvaszinger Tokaj Sarga Muskotaly Szaraz/Dry

Kvaszinger Tokaj Muskotaly Dry is, as it states, a dry, fresh, and fruity Tokaj white wine, with lively acids, intense Muscat aromatics, and a whisper of residual sugar.

The Kvaszinger family's foothold in Tokaj came from a card game: arriving from Prussia in the late 1800s, the patriarch served as steward to a local baron, and in 1929 — when the baron lost a hand and had no cash to cover it — bought the Hatalos vineyard that still anchors the estate. Eleven hectares, family-run. Hand-harvested in mid-September, pressed at night, fermented and aged four to five months on the lees in steel.
