Laudun is one of only a handful of villages within the Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation permitted to add its own name to the label — a recognition of its distinctive terroir and consistent quality. Located on the right bank of the Rhône, across from Tavel and Lirac, Laudun produces some of the Southern Rhône's finest white wines from the appellation's permitted varieties: Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and Viognier. Pierre Henri Morel is a respected name in the Southern Rhône — Total Wine lists him as one of the region's notable producers. The Laudun Blanc is a full, aromatic white: stone fruit, white flowers, citrus, and Mediterranean herbs on the nose, with a round, textured palate and good acidity and length.
Food Pairings: Bouillabaisse, grilled branzino with fennel, ratatouille, roast chicken with herbes de Provence, goat cheese, white truffle dishes
