Pojer & Sandri Zero Infinito Frizzante

Funky in a good way, this is an ancestral method sparkling wine made with Zero intervention. The grape is Solaris. It's a hybrid grape, invented in Germany in the 1970s, that thrives in Italy's mountainous Trentino region. Since the fermentation finishes in the bottle, there's natural sediment in the bottle which gives the wine its cloudy appearance. On the palate, though, the wine has very clean and bright notes of peach and cherry. It's like a fruit cocktail in your mouth which ends deliciously dry.
