Ramona Blood Orange Wine Spritz

Lightly sparkling organic Sicilian Zibibbo blended with blood orange juice — deep crimson, balanced acidity, with crushed raspberry and hibiscus on the finish.

Jordan Salcito — a sommelier who ran the beverage programs for Momofuku and worked the floor at Eleven Madison Park — built Ramona as a modern wine cooler: organic grapes, natural fruit, no refined sugar, nothing artificial, in a 250 ml can. She wanted something portable and irreverent she could drink at "beer occasions," and named it for her youngest sister's childhood alter ego.

Food pairing: Fresh seafood, crunchy greens, fried food — or simply as the aperitif, cold, before anything else happens.
