Saints Hlls Mala Nevina is a rounded, dry white wine that expresses floral and rounded aromas on the nose, while the palate offers generous citrus, green apple, and peach flesh characteristics, with a soft hint of white floral notes. The vineyard, comprised of red limestone rich in minerals, reaches a substantial elevation, benefiting from full sun exposure during the day and cooling nighttime breezes sweeping down the slopes–all of this building supple fruit and preserving essential acidity. The fermentation occurred in egg-shaped concrete vats and large wooden vats, form which micro-oxygenation built texture and complexity. The aging occured in a combination of concrete tanks and large wood vats (approximately 10% aged in new French oak barriques) for 6-9 months; the oak aging added a subtle creamy texture without overpowering the fruit.
