Released in 2024 as Tip Top's first mezcal cocktail and the first ready-to-drink version of this drink on the market, made in collaboration with Joaquín Simó, who created it around 2011 at Death & Co in New York. The original is equal parts mezcal, yellow Chartreuse, Aperol, and fresh lime — a Last Word crossed with a Paper Plane, added to the IBA official list in 2020. The name comes from a line in Tricky's "Tricky Kid." Smoky, herbal, citrusy, and bitter all at once, in a vivid orange.
Serving suggestions: Shake with ice, fine-strain into a chilled coupe · Garnish with a lime wheel · Serve alongside something salty and grilled — it's an aperitif with teeth
