True Grit Reserve Petite Sirah Mendocino

True Grit Petit Sirah is a dry, full-bodied red wine that features a bouquet of blackberry, black currant, and tobacco, with subtle notes of cola and spice. On the palate, characteristics of fresh blackberry, dark chocolate, plum, wet stone, herbs, and black pepper twirl together through to the finish of supple tannin and excellent acidity. Fermentation was in stainless steel to preserve freshness, and aging was in French, American, and Hungarian oak.

Food Pairing: Grilled steaks, lamb chops, barbecued ribs, Moroccan beef stew, venison, beef bourguignon, carne guisada, caramelized pork chops, pungent blue cheese, sharp cheddar, wild mushroom dishes.
