Wyatt California Pinot Noir

Wyatt's Pinot Noir is bright magenta in color with an expressive nose of raspberry, rhubarb, and bramble. The palate is bright with vivid, berry fruit and subtle tannin. The persistent finish is lifted and gently spicy.

The grapes for Wyatt Pinot Noir are sourced from southern-facing and well-draining vineyards. From the importer: "66% of the grapes were de-stemmed and transferred by gravity to open-top fermenters, on top of the whole clusters. The grapes went through a cool, 5-day, cold soak prior to fermentation with indigenous yeasts and pressed at dryness. Malolactic was completed with indigenous flora." The grapes age for 18 months in barrels, 25% of which are new.
