Alegre y Valganon Tinto Rioja

Organically farmed Tempranillo and Garnacha, with a minor amount of the Viura white grape, from the Rioja Alta region of Rioja, that spend 12-18 months in various sizes of used French oak. The 2022 ripening season allowed higher content of fruit to develop, thus a a notable expression of round fruit fills the palate. Floral cherry notes and a chalky texture center on the palate, demonstrating that this is a slender, vibrant Rioja whose fine-grained tannin provide a backdrop tot its elegant freshness.

Food Pairing: Chorizo-based dishes, beef and fennel ragu, tomato-based pasta dishes, grilled pork, grilled chicken.
