Bourcier-Martinot Saint-Veran

The Bourcier-Martinot label is a value-driven project created exclusively for Polaner Selections by childhood friends and brothers-in-law Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray of Domaine des Deux Roches in the Mâconnais village of Davayé — the largest family owners of land under vine in the region. Saint-Véran is the southernmost Mâconnais appellation, directly adjacent to Pouilly-Fuissé, and one of the region's best-value Chardonnay appellations. The vineyards sit at the foot of the iconic limestone escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson ("deux roches"), farmed sustainably without herbicides. Stainless steel vinification preserves freshness, yielding a wine with rich floral aromas and hints of pear, apple, and peach, a seamless, creamy-textured palate, and lovely acidity. A genuinely elegant white Burgundy at a price point that makes it a weeknight staple.
