Château Guilhem Pot de Vin Rouge

Château Guilhem Pot de Vin Rouge is a consistently delicious, fruity, and slightly earthy expression of Merlot, from the south of France. This is a natural wine that's stabilized by very slight addition of SO2, and the grapes are derived from biodynamically farmed vineyards. The grapes are fermented and aged in concrete tanks built by the vigneron's, Bertrand Gourdou, grandfather. The label "Pot-de-Vin" translates as "the bribe of wine"; and "pot" also referst o the shape of the bottle.

The Guilhem estate has been in existent since 1791–though technically in the Guilhem family since 1878–and it focuses mostly on Bordeaux varietals to thrive by maritime influences from the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
