Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin Dix Climats 2023 375ml

Domaine Trapet Pére et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin Cix Climats 2023 is a stunning Pinot Noir from the Cote de Nuit, in Burgundy's prestigious Cote d'Or. The nose features bright raspberry and dark berry fruit, and a delicate body with silky tannins and a touch of oak. The name "Dix Climats" alludes to the multiple parcels the grapes are from, spanning 4 hectares. The parcels' grapes are vinified separate of each other to preserve unique terroir traits. A whole bunch fermentation ensued which augmented the aromatic complexity. High-quality French oak barrels are used for aging, sourced from the Allier and Nivernais forests. The barrels are lightly toasted to add subtle woodsy hints without overpowering the Pinot Noir fruit.
