Lola Pinot Noir

Lola Pinot Noir features aromas of fresh cherry, blackberry, cola, and vanilla, offering a rich, layer of velvet tannin, crisp acidity, and a soft finish. This Pinot Noir draws from three regions, each contributing something to structure and aromatics, with minimal cellar intervention and neutral oak so the fruit remains evident.

Seth Cripe arrived in Napa at seventeen with $1,200 and an '88 Subaru, worked four harvests at Swanson and eight at Caymus, then started making his own wine in 2008 — naming it for his dog and building it on the idea that good wine shouldn't be pretentious or expensive. The first bottling under the label was a low-sulfur natural wine he couldn't sell, a decade ahead of the market.

Food pairing: Roast duck, mushroom pasta, salmon, or a plate of charcuterie. Also the rare red that holds up to Thanksgiving's entire chaotic table.
