Château Grimard Rouge Bordeaux 2020 is a dry red wine that already has a hint of aging on it and expresses ripe plum, cassis, dark berries, earthy mineral notes, and raisiny fruit. The tannins are soft there is still plenty of structuring acidity. The wines aged only in stainless steel to preserve freshness, which is why this is still a vibrant wine. Château Grimard, which used to be called Haut-Guriaud, has owned cru-level vineyards the late 1800s, and this is an affordable vintage made from vineyards set outside their cru sites.
