Reguta Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Reguta Sauvignon Blanc is Switzerland of Sauvignon Blanc: it expresses a neutral balance between the precise mineral style from the Loire and the tropical New Zealand "Sauvi B's." It diplomatically showcases grapefruit and green herbs, cut grass without the aggression, a flinty edge, and a dry, saline close.

Ettore Anselmi founded Reguta in 1928; the family still owns and runs it, now into the third generation with Giuseppe and Luigi Anselmi and their sons. Two hundred and fifty hectares sit close enough to the Adriatic to be ventilated by sea breezes, on clay soils rich in mineral salts. Friuli makes some of Italy's most convincing Sauvignon Blancs.
