Terre Gaie Brando Cabernet Franc

Terre Gaie's Brando Cabernet Franc is a lush medium-to-full-bodies dry Italian red wine that expresses notes of plum, blackberry, and vanilla. The bouquet of aromas includes fresh plum, dark blackberry, sweet vanilla, soft leather, and cocoa. The palate is a harmonious balance of refined tannins and structuring acidity. The grapes macerated on skins for 12 days. The wine partially aged in stainless steel to retain freshness, and the rest of it aged in neutral oak barrels for subtle structure.

Food Pairing: grilled red meats, braised beef, game meats, burgers, hearty pasta, lasagna, mushroom lasagna with gruyere, roasted root vegetables, stuffed bell peppers with ground turkey and cumin.
