K Vitners Voignier

K Vitners Viognier is a dry white wine from Washington State, that has a tension of creamy texture and nervy acidity. The aromas and palate express white peach, apricot, honeysuckle, lychee, apple,pear, honeycomb, fresh ginger, and sour melon–all followed by saline minerality and buttressing acidity. The mouthfeel is creamy and full-bodied, with an oily texture balanced with the bright acidity. The savory finish makes this a perfect aperitif wine. The wine was fermented in oak barrels and concrete vats, and then it matured for 5 months in used French oak demi-muids.

Food Pairing: roasted poultry, poached salmon, spicy Asian cuisine, brie, gouda, gruyére with apricot preserves.
