Marie Rocher Les Passantes Rouge

Marie Rocher's Les Passantes Rouge is a delightful light, dry expression of the red Gamay grape. There is a light grip of tannin on the front of the palat, followed by notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, mulberry, baked plum, watermelon flesh near the rind, and sweet baking spice; earthy undertones like leather, smoky, and peppery spice follow through the bright finish. The vinification occurred in fiberglass and 20% barrelling.
