Made from Nerello Mascalese grape, not native to Pantelleria, but to the Etna region in Sicily. Because of the similar climate and volcanic soil, Battista Belvisi thought it would do well on his island. And he was right! Of an intense rose color with shades of orange, it is an explosion of wild strawberries and red fruits on the nose. Strong and elegant fruit in the mouth, with an intense minerality and some light spice towards the finish. The Cloe’ is a dream in a bottle.
