Paso de Cebra is a village wine, meant to be accessible to everyone who wants to experience Grenache from Cebreros. It incorporates different vineyards from different areas, soils, heights, and orientations, for a wine that has a quintessentially Gredos complexity and structure, but is also friendly and easy to drink. 100% Garnacha from five vineyards in Cebreros between 650 and 850 meters altitude, ranging from 60 to 100 years old; four are planted on granitic sandy soils and one on schist. All plots were crushed, destemmed, fermented separately in open vats, then raised for six months in used French barrels (fifth- and sixth-use). This wine brings big Southern Rhône Grenache energy with spicy fruits, earthyness, and a medium length finish.
