A very well-balanced wine. Medium in body. Floral notes on the nose are followed by spices, wild berry, and balsamic herbs. It finishes very fresh and persistent with the fine tannins on the palate.
This indigenous grape variety, locally known as Savignôn Rosso, survived philloxera and developed around the Oriolo tower, on the Faenza hills. It is grown organically and vinified in concrete vats. Very little SO2 was added at bottling.
